Jeffrey + Dana | Downtown Greenville Proposal

Recently, my prayer has been for growth. Personal growth, business growth, and spiritual growth. I prayed for something to come my way that would challenge me. correction: scare me to the point where I might say no.

Not even a week later, I had an email sitting in my inbox. The subject was Proposal. I remember thinking “ohh heckk noooo.” The email was written so politely and read something like “I want to propose to my girlfriend, Dana, on December 15th. Is this something you would be interested in?”

I couldn’t even think about a response, and minutes later I pressed “send” to an email that read “Yes! I would love to be a part of this!”

A week later, I was meeting Jeffrey at Starbucks to discuss how he was going to pull this off. He talked about proposing at Jumping Off Rock in Sunset, South Carolina. We talked about where I would stand to make sure I had the perfect view. Once that was squared away, I wanted to learn more about them. After an hour of talking, I heard him say “After dating her for a month, I just knew.” excuse me while I go pick my heart up off the floor. I could tell, these two were meant to be! And what an honor it was to be chosen as the photographer to capture it all!

The day of the proposal the plans changed. After a rainy week in Greenville, Jeffrey made the wise decision to not make his future bride walk through the mud. smart man. So he changed directions and decided on the Wyche Pavillion near the Peace Center in Downtown Greenville.

I watched as they walked into the pavilion hand in hand. After a few steps in, Jeffrey gently tapped Dana on the shoulder. When she turned around, there he was promising her forever. I have chills thinking about it. It was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever witnessed. Right there, everything felt just right.

Following the proposal, we walked around Falls Park stopping at various spots to capture this dreamy couple. and of course, the ring that could literally blind a person.

I won’t make you wait any longer, so here are those Mississippi lovebirds!

Congratulations Jeffrey + Dana! Thank you for letting me in on a part of your love story!

Know of a recently engaged couple? I would love to meet them! Come send an inquiry!
